4 Hours of Action ; Dhurandhar 2 Hype is Heating Up
Following the massive success of the first installment—which raked in over ₹1,300 crore worldwide in 2025—director Aditya Dhar is returning to conclude his gritty spy duology. Scheduled for a worldwide release on March 19, 2026, the film is timed to coincide with the festive weekend of Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi.
The anticipation for Dhurandhar 2 is unprecedented for a sequel released so quickly after its predecessor. Scheduled for a worldwide release on March 19, 2026, the film is timed to coincide with the festive weekend of Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi. Unlike the first part, which was primarily a Hindi release, the sequel is dropping in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
As of mid-March, the film has already sold over 4.7 lakh tickets in India, grossing nearly ₹60 crore in advance sales alone before the general booking even fully opened. Shot across Thailand, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh, the film is expected to deliver a 235-minute (nearly 4-hour) cinematic epic with music by Shashwat Sachdev.
"Ab Pakistan ka mustakbil, Hindustan tay karega"
The sequel picks up immediately after the cliffhanger ending of the first film. Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Ranveer Singh), an undercover R&AW agent, has successfully eliminated the ruthless Rehman Dakait. However, his mission is far from over.

The Hunt for "Bade Sahab"
The central mystery of the sequel revolves around the identity of the shadowy mastermind known as "Bade Sahab." The narrative promises a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, shifting from street-level gang wars to global geopolitical intrigue. There is intense speculation that Emraan Hashmi may be the surprise reveal behind the villainous "Bade Sahab," though the makers have kept this under tight wraps.
